The Department of English, Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College, Farook College PO, is organizing a UGC sponsored One Day State Level Seminar on Major Issues and Scenarios in Learning and Teaching English as a Second Language. The seminar will be held on 18 February 2015. The function will be inaugurated by Dr. Sheena Shukoor, PVC, MG University. Those who are interested may please apply on or before 10 February 2015.

Dr. Abdulla Abdurahman, Director of Arabic Programme at Qatar University inaugurated this years celebrations on 18 December 2013 Wednesday at 10.00 a.m. Dr. Abdu Rahman Qassas, Professor of Ummul Qura University, Makka was the chief guest.
Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College Students' Union conducted Inter Collegiate Competitions in Quiz, Elocution, and Essay Writing as part of the World Arabic Language Day Celebrations 2013. The winners were awarded by P.K. Ahammed, President of RUA College Managing Committee.

After the successful completion of ANNS Programme at Qatar University, Sulaiman Aikkarappady, and Afsal Madavoor returned to their home. Two more students of RUA College were sent to Qatar University. Nabeel Palath and Abdul Hadi Areacode were got admission with Scholraship at Qatar University for ANNS Programme. The college gave reception for completed students and farewell for new candidates at a function inaugurated by Dr. PK Hussain Madavoor on 29-08-2013 at College Auditorium. Prof. Sulaiman Madani was the chief guest of the function. Dr. Musthafa Farooqy, Principal of the college presided over the function.

PTA Meeting of Afzalul Ulama Preliminary First Year held on 01-07-2013 at RUA Auditorium. The Principal Dr. P. Musthafa Inaugurated the programme. All the parents of the student in first year present in the programme. Class teacher Aboobacker K initiated the ice breaking session. Teachers in charge of various committees, associations, centers and schemes given a brief note on each activities for the upliftment of students.
Career and counseling cell of the college organized a one day orientation camp for the freshers on 27-06-2013. Students at preliminary level attended positively. Shareef Thirur led the crew. Goals Setting, Internal Traits, and Career Opportunities were discussed in detail. Dr. P. Musthafa, Principal inaugurated the camp. Career counselor Prof. P. Ayman Shouqui, Literary Forum Director, Prof. Zuhair Chungathara given advises for the freshers.

Literary Forum of RUA College inaugurated on 26-6-13 by Former Resident Editor of Malayala Manorama, Jb. K. Aboobacker. Dr. P. Musthafa Farooqy, Principal, RUA college was on the chair. Prizez for NSS winners and BZone and Interzone winners were given away in the function. 'Best Library User Award 2012-13' also distributed in the function. Shirin K of II Year Afzalul Ulama Preliminary won Ist Prize in Essay Competition, Rachel Silpa Anto, AU Preliminary Ist Year got Second Prize. Muhammed Jabir NV, BA Vth Semester placed III. Ayisha Naseeha, Thasni and Absal got complimentary Prizes. Preliminary first year boys got Ist prize in Collage. Preli II Girls in II Place, and Preli I Girls in III Place.
